Denmark

Copenhagen … is located on the islands of Zealand and Amager with 671,673 in its municipal area. The city was settled as a Viking fishing village in the 10th Century, and became the capital of Denmark in the 15th Century. Famous internationally as the “friendliest city in the world,” it is where world visitors enjoy hospitality and friendship with Danes and with each other. Copenhagen is modern, clean, home of Tivoli Gardens, Carlserg Beer, spacious plazas, and a modern national theatre on the shore of a major shipping channel. Copenhagen! Look for mermaids with golden hair and smiles, while enjoying openface sandwiches, seafood, ham, and world famous cookies and ice cream!
